Storytelling. That's what journalism is, and what has become my passion in high school. Storytelling in high school is so unique because you have access to your peers that you cannot get anywhere else.
Sports are a beautiful thing because while some believe, "It's just a game," there is so much more to uncover than just the game. Student athletes are remarkable people, especially at Cherry Creek where they are able to excel in the classroom and on the field. For me, it's a honor to be able to connect the community with the Cherry Creek Bruins. I'm in awe every time I'm on the air that people welcome me into their home and allow me to bring them such a historic athletic program. It's so rewarding to write, shoot, and edit videos and other media content and know that my work is paying off and that it's appreciated within the Cherry Creek Community. Thank you for letting me share your stories. |
People say 'dream big,' that's kind of one of those motivational sayings, but I would say dream hard, meaning I just wanted it so badly, I could feel it. |
